About Elaine
I am a psychotherapist and personal coach who has recently moved to Jupiter, Florida. Born in England, I have lived in Canada and the United States.
Specializing in Mind/Body therapy using the creative arts, I work with dreams, art, movement and journaling to help you better understand your inner world. These reveal what is preventing you from reaching goals and being all you can be in the outside world. My introduction to the world of dreams, Jungian psychology and Depth psychology in the Memphis Jung Seminar group led me to explore the Body/Mind connection with analyst/author Marion Woodman in her BodySoul Rythms training program. My work is also influenced by eastern spiritual traditions.
I also completed the first year training in Authentic Movement at the Authentic Movement Institute in Berkeley, California. I have been a student of breathwork and meditation since 1991 and offer individual sessions, groups and workshops. In addition I like to sponsor other workshop leaders and teachers to visit SE Florida and who are working in the areas of self empowerment, spirituality and consciousness raising.
I am currently licensed in Florida and specialize in helping you connect to your Higher Power or Authentic Self by accompanying you on an inner journey. This includes working with your dreams, thoughts, feelings and intuition. We will honor and explore the dynamic communications between body, mind and spirit while we travel on your path towards wholeness and Self Realization.
My strengths include the ability to listen and help you understand this inner guidance. I am also well acquainted with the seen world (outer world), as well as the unseen world (inner world). My life experience and my own personal journey has made it possible for me to walk the space between both worlds.
Working in Jupiter and West Palm Beach, FL, my goal is to help you create meaning in your life, become more conscious and pursue the life of your dreams.
I have worked in an inpatient setting, outpatient clinic and in private practice. I have worked with women, adolescents and older adults. In addition I have had the privilege of working with our nation’s veterans.
