DANCE OF AUTHENTICITY – MOVING INTO YOUR UNIQUENESS

Over time, and seduced by our culture, we wander further away from our authenticity. In the modern world our feelings are often sacrificed for quick conveniences and material concerns. Join us for this experiential and educational workshop to claim and connect to our inner Self. We will work with body movement, dreams, and simple art forms that will guide us back to the silenced voice we ignore when we are just too busy in life.
The BodySoul Rhythms® work has a strong base in C.G. Jung, and supports the individual’s process of working towards consciousness, and the contained group process to descend into the unconscious and the body. It holds that psyche and soma are inseparable, and must be worked on together to come to consciousness – to the positive feminine in our bodies and the positive masculine in our creative pursuits.

WAYFARERS GROUP NOW FORMING for summer 2012
The winter group was a huge success. Please watch this page for details if a summer group that is now forming that will meet for 4 hours, once a month.
This is intended to help travelers on the road of life focus on their own inner map for the journey. It will be based on the BodySoul approach developed by Marion Woodman, Mary Hamilton and Ann Skinner which focuses on a deep respect for dreams, embodied wisdom and Jung’s understanding of the psyche.
We will explore dreams and symbols of the imagination and use meditation, active imagination, journaling, simple art forms and movement to better understand our inner world. Music, poetry and relevant audio and video tapes will accompany us on the journey.
We will discuss how we can transform the new awareness into embodied wisdom which can be expressed in our outer lives.

DREAMING AND EMBODYING THE DIVINE DANCE

East meets West in this weekend workshop which will help you explore the next step on your spiritual path. Using your dreams and creative movement and gesture we will awaken the Divine within us and learn to embody the symbols and messages with which we are being gifted.
The weekend will culminate in ancient Fire Ceremony in Delray Beach where we will offer to the Divine thanks for what we have received. There is no yoga experience required. This workshop will be high energy and transformative. Inexpensive accomodation may be available in private homes.
Sofia Diaz is a hatha yoga master and a lineage holder in the Balasaraswati
lineage of the South Indian temple arts. She turns her body wisdom practices
into accessible teachings and practices for the modern western mind. She is a
core founder and faculty of iEvolve: Global Practice Community and a Fellow
of the Integral Life Spiritual Center. She comes to us from Colorado.
