Spirituality

I view spirituality as an essential component of a happy life. This needs to be distinguished from religion which is a specific chosen, avenue towards God. I encourage each person to discover their own spiritual path which may, or may not involve religion. I see spirituality as the ability to connect and relate to, one’s own inner Divine nature and to be in relationship with a Higher Power.

This connection can be discovered through the following practices (but not limited to these).

Meditation

A powerful practice that helps to quiet the mind and develop inner peace. This, in turn, deepens our intuition and our connection to Divine Guidance.

Breathwork

Paramahansa Yogananda described the breath as ‘the cord that ties the spirit to the flesh’. Deep breathing and connected breathing will foster relaxation and help connect you to your spiritual nature.
